What is Contemporary Lifestyle Portrait and Wedding Photography?

This is the new style of portrait and wedding photography today. In the case of portrait photographs, it describes the current trend of creative photography sought after by many young people today. No longer do you have to have formal poses taken in a photographer's studio with dark backgrounds. Today's portrait photo shoots are fun sessions for children, families, couples, business portraits (headshots) and important occasions such as 18th and 21st birthday celebrations. I am able to offer this style of photography either from my home based studio in Alsager or suitable outdoor locations if you live near to Crewe, Stoke, Stafford and surrounding areas.

When describing wedding photography, the context is very similar to that of portrait photography. Only a few years ago before digital photography became so popular, wedding photographers were restricted by the limitations of film photography. This style of wedding photography is also referred to as a Reportage or Journalistic. In contrast to this, wedding photographs were of a more traditional or classic style in terms of how family groups were arranged.

My personal style of wedding photography is a mixture of the more modern contemporary style along with some of the traditional or classical wedding photographs.
